Karalee Scout Group

Karalee Scout Group was established over 39 years ago and reguarly supports the local community. We are a small group with youth members from the local area of Karalee , Barellan Point, Pine Mountain, Tivoli, Chuwar, Kholo, Bundamba, Dinmore, Blackwall, Abermain and Mount Crosby. We also welcome members from other areas where the local group may not have suitable times.

When we meet

We cater for youth members from the age of 5 through to 18, within the Ipswich region Scouting does continue on through to 26.

If you are interested in joining come along on one of our evenings:

Joeys is for youth members aged between 5 and 8.
Joeys meet on WEDNESDAY 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Cubs is for youth members aged between 8 and 11.
Cubs meet on WEDNESDAYS 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Scouts is for youth members aged between 11 and 15.
Scouts meet on WEDNESDAY 6:30pm-8:30pm

Venturers is for youth members aged between 14 and 18.
Venturers meet on WEDNESDAY 6:30pm-8:30pm

Fees

Every youth and adult member needs to be a financial member of the Scout Association of Australia.

The current membership fee for youth members is set by the Scout Association of Australia, Queensland Branch and is paid by the family on sign up before the child can commence with the section in the group. A refund is available if the youth decides to leave within the first six weeks by written notification to the Queensland Branch.

The group meets all year during state school term time. The ongoing term fees are $120* per term.

Camping and activity fees are charged at cost when required.
